As an added service to our members, we have
a FREE child watch service available while
you workout. Open to children ages 6
months to 6 years. Parents must remain
on premises and there is a 2-hour per day
time limit.

The Lower Shore Family YMCA offers parents a
Maryland State Licensed after school program
for your kindergarten through eighth grade
child in Pocomoke. Your
child will have the opportunity to
participate in a variety of activities
including arts & crafts, sports, group
games, swimming (in Pocomoke) and more.
Children will be given time each day to
complete their homework while attending the
program. The YMCA provides positive
role models in the way of an experienced
staff with a focus on children and their
development. Our staff works with the
children daily to get them up and moving.
We are not a program that focuses on
tutoring children, however, we will have
them active on a daily basis. Kids
need to be kids and have fun. We leave
the educational focus tot he schools and
bring the kids a variety of sports, group
games and fitness! Worcester County Schools provide
transportation daily.

New children pay a one-time registration fee of $25.00 in addition to their first monthly payment. All payments must be made by the 21st of the month for the

In order to register for the after school
program, you must have the following
paperwork with you: current and up-to-date
immunization records, child's most recent
physical and insurance card. The
remaining packet may be filled out by the
parent/guardian at registration. We
accept Purchase of Care or grant Financial
Assistance to those who qualify; however, we
cannot accept both. Registration
packets as well as Financial Assistance
Applications are available at the front desk
of the YMCA.
Holiday
Break K-8th Grade Program
Children in grades K-8 can attend all day
childcare from 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. when
schools are closed due to a professional day
or holiday! All children will need to
bring a swimsuit, towel and a packed lunch
daily. Please register 24 hours in
advance of the date you wish your child to
attend.

If children do not have school due to
inclement weather, we will have all day care

Youth
Group Overnights
Are you looking for something exciting for
your youth group to do? Bring them to
the YMCA for swimming and gym activities.
Overnights run from 8:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m. on
Friday and Saturday nights. The pool
is available from 8:30-10:30 p.m. for an
additional charge. There is a minimum
requirement of 1 chaperone per 10 children.
A YMCA staff member will be present to
supervise the building overnight. All
activities will be led by your youth group.
Equipment will be made available for your
use. The aerobics room, fitness center
and office area are not included in this
rental.
Fees:
Cost without pool $220.00 for 1-100
people
Cost with pool $270.00 for 1-30
people; $320.00 for 31-60 people; $370 for
61-100 people
