GROUP SWIM LESSONS, SWIM TEAMS, & MORE...

YMCA Swim Lessons

Welcome to the Lower Shore Family YMCA Swim Lesson Program.  The purpose of our swim lesson program is to develop competency in swimming, along with confidence and endurance.  Class limits are established to assure quality and sufficient instruction time.  Each child is different and will progress at their own pace.  There is no timeline to how long a child will be at a particular level.  Please provide goggles for your child if they are in the following levels: Guppy, Minnow, Fish, Flying Fish and Shark.  For more information, please contact the Aquatics Department.

Policy for Missed Classes/Make-Ups

In order to keep our class fees as low as possible, we will not be able to issue credit for missed classes or activities (even if they occur due to inclement weather).  Make-ups are not available to swimming class participants because of the program design.
