Willy Y Program
- ages 3-5 (must be potty-trained)
When you register your child for the Willy Y
Program for Pre-Schoolers they will
participate in 3 exciting segments
consisting of: recreation swim, crafts &
learning, and creative movement in each
daily session. Segments will not be
divided.
Recreation Swim:
Designed to introduce children to water.
They will receive assistance and
encouragement in basic water safety skills
while having fun.
Crafts & Learning:
Children are introduced to letters, numbers,
colors, days of the week, calendar
activities, story time and creative arts &
crafts.
Creative Movement:
This program includes various running,
musical, quiet and rhythmic games to further
develop motor skills. Participants
will practice throwing, catching and kicking
playground balls as well as play organized
games.

Willy Y
Pre-School Camp - ages 3-5 (must be

Beginning in June, the Willy Y Program turns
into a weekly camp packed with fun and
adventure. Featuring the same great
Willy Y staff, this camp offers a sample of
many different activities from swimming and
crafts to games and stories.

Elementary School Age
Child Care
Program is designed to provide social,
educational and recreational activities for
grades K-5. The program is Maryland
State Licensed and operates Monday-Friday
from school dismissal until 6:00 p.m. during
the Wicomico County Public School calendar
year. Our staff is made up of caring
individuals who will give your child special
attention. We will provide the
necessary time to complete homework
assignments and provide assistance for
students. All activities will take
place at the Mid-Shore Family YMCA:
Arts & Crafts, Computer Activities, Game
Room, Homework Time and Indoor & Outdoor
Games.
The YMCA will provide transportation from
the following Wicomico County Schools to the
YMCA daily: Beaver Run, Chipman,
East Salisbury, North
Salisbury, Pemberton and Prince Street.

School Days Out
The YMCA offers a program for children in
grades K-8 during the Wicomico County Public
School vacations. Activities are the
same as the School Age Child Care and Middle
School Youth Programs. It operates
from 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. and space is
limited. Children not enrolled in
either the School Age Child Care or Middle
School Youth Programs must complete and turn
in required paperwork before your child can
attend. All medical information forms,
including a physical and immunization
records are required. All School Days
Out participants must be registered five (5)
days in advance of the School Day Out.
Payments and registration will not be
accepted the day of the School Day Out.

The Mid-Shore Family YMCA's day camp
promises to be an adventurous and memorable
experience. We strive to provide a
safe and exciting environment for your child
to grow as an individual and develop a
strong sense of teamwork. Our daily
activities include swim lessons, crafts,
indoor and outdoor games & sports, team
building exercises, health & fitness
activities and much, much more! We'll
take weekly trips to the Salisbury Zoo and
Park, and Fantastic Fridays will be filled
with outrageously fun events!

Summer
Discovery Field Trips
Field trips are weekly adventures that take
us away from the YMCA for the day!
They are an additional fee and registration
is on a first-come-first-serve basis.
This summer's field trip list, including all
dates and fees is available at the front
desk. Killen's Pond, the Shorebirds
Game, Coco's Funhouse and Assateague Island
are just a sneak peak at where we'll be
going this summer.
AGES
12-15 YEARS
Middle School Youth
Program
Program is designed to provide social,
educational, recreational and community
service activities for students in grades
6-8. Students will take on a
leadership roles while helping to plan
activities. The program is Maryland
State Licensed and operates Monday-Friday
from school dismissal until 6:00 p.m. during
the Wicomico County Public School calendar
year. Time will be allotted to work on
homework assignments.
The YMCA will provide transportation from
the following Wicomico County Schools to the
YMCA daily: Bennett Middle,
Salisbury Middle, Wicomico Middle.
Please note: Due to rising
transportation costs, we must have a minimum
of five (5) students from each school in
order to provide transportation.
Children must be picked-up from the YMCA no
later than 6:00 p.m. All required
paperwork must be completed before anyone
can attend; including a physical and all
other medical information forms.
Packets can be picked up at the front desk
of the YMCA.

Teen Camp
- Ages 12-15
It's more than your regular day camp...it's
a whole catalogue of exciting activities
designed for teens as they gain independence
and responsibilities. They will be
able to help choose daily activities and
learn new skills. Activities include
swimming, games, sports, cooking projects,
nature & science activities and even a
little drama. Emphasis is placed on
our five core character values of: Caring,
Honesty, Respect, Responsibility and Faith.
Extraordinary adventures await you - sign up
for all 9 weeks or just a select few
depending upon your summer schedule.
