Youth Sports

Everyone Plays, Everyone Wins!

The Mid-Shore Family YMCA is proud to support this philosophy in all of our Youth Sports programs.  All programs are done with a Christian purpose following our four core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.  All players will play a minimum of half of each game.  Assessments are done at the beginning of each session to help ensure an equal division of talent among teams.  The assessments are not a tryout and will last about an hour.  Please register your child before the listed registration deadline to ensure proper time to place them on a team and order the appropriate equipment for league.  A $10.00 late fee is charged if we accept your late registration into the program.  All teams are coached by volunteers, mainly parents.  Sign up to coach today!

League Organizations:

We have made some changes to better suite the needs of children who play in our leagues.  We are adding a class for children ages 2 to 4 years old.  These classes will follow our sports seasons, however, will include parental involvement and work on age appropriate skills.  The rest of the league will be divided as follows:

Under 7 (U7) Ages 5 & 6 Under 13 (U13) Ages 11 & 12
Under 9 (U6) Ages 7 & 8 Under 15 (U15) Ages 13 & 14
Under 11 (U11) Ages 9 & 10 Under 17 (U17) Ages 15 & 16
